They have been eating solids now since the day after Christmas and all seem to mostly enjoy it. We have not tried many things yet and i dont know how much they are actually getting in their bellies, but its fun and makes quite the mess! So far we have done avocado, banana, sweet potato, and carrots. They all seem to have gone over pretty well! I will do another post all about the baby led weaning and how that is going later.
We are just in love with all three of them!
Declan-
Declan is our sweet boy, he is much more mellow and just loves to watch. He loves cuddles and is usually the last one to get picked up since he is always the most calm. But he knows how to be a charmer and get his way!
Weight and Length: 16 pounds 7 ounces and 26.75 inches
Eating: He eats every 3.5- 4 hours or so but I am still nursing on demand. He usually is the one to just eat when his brother and sister want to.
Sleep: He is our best sleeper. He sleeps through the night and only really gets woken by his siblings. He naps for at least 2 hours twice a day.
Clothes Sizes: All 6 month size!
Favorite Things: He loves bath time and will just splash all day long if we let him. He also love the Jumper and just rolling around. He loves putting everything in his mouth. He also is a big fan of walks. If they are every fussy when I put him in the stroller and walk outside he instantly calms down. He is also the biggest fan of being carried in the ergo.
Least Favorite Things: He hates getting changed. He arches his back and tries to roll every time. We have resorted to moving the pad onto the floor just for safety. It is probably when he gets the most angry. He also hates being startled. None of them particularly like loud noises or being scared but he is always the most effected by them.
Milestones: Sitting up!
Owen-
Owen is our little ham. He loves to smile and make others smile. He loves it when anyone laughs at him and will then repeat whatever he did to get it. He also is the most demanding. If he needs anything or just wants attention, he will let us know!
Weight and Length: 16 pounds 9 ounces and 26.75 inches
Eating: He eats every 3.5-4 hours or so but im still nursing on demand and sometimes he eats sooner. He is usually the first to dictate when he is hungry and the other two follow suit.
Sleep: We have decided he just needs the least amount of sleep. He sleeps through the night but is always the first awake and he only naps for about 1.5 hours if we are lucky, twice a day. But he is happy so we dont fight it!
Clothes Sizes: All 6 months size!
Favorite Things: He loves bath time as well and loves to be outside. He loves his exersaucer and really playing with anything while upright. He is our best sitter I think because he like being able to see everything and know what going on. He is a big drooler and loves to put everything in his mouth so his favorite toys are Sophie the giraffe and o-balls.
Least Favorite Things: He hates waiting. He is the least patient and can turn from happy to mad very quickly. He is also not a fan of diaper changes but he does like being naked. So he really only gets mad when we put one back on! He also does not like being put in his carseat. Once we are driving its ok but he will scream in it if we are not moving.

Evelyn-
Evelyn is such a sweet little girl but she can also be a diva. She can just melt your heart with her sweet smiles. She loves her daddy lights up when he is around. She is a very content baby and is best at soothing herself. But if she wants or needs anything, you will know!

Eating: She eats every 3.5-4 hours or so but im still nursing on demand. She usually just listens to her brothers.
Sleep: She sleeps pretty well. I think she is a lighter sleeper and sometimes just wakes up when her brother does. She sleeps through the night and naps for about 1.5-2 hours twice a day.

Favorite Things: She also loves the bath and going outside. She loves all animals and lights up and squeals whenever she sees dogs walking. Its the cutest thing. She loves to be held and look around. Her favorite toys are also chewable ones and she loves being read to.
Least Favorite Things: She is the best with diaper changes but still doesn't like them. She also has decided that she will not take a bottle of pumped milk unless it is from daddy. No one else can feed her a bottle (but she will obviously breastfeed from me).
